Yes — Judo Fundamentals instills essential throws, gripping strategies, and movement patterns used in competition. Students build technical foundations and can transition to intermediate classes or competition teams when instructors approve and conditioning and randori readiness are established.

Attend two to three classes per week for steady improvement in technique, balance, and conditioning. Consistent practice, paired with at-home drills and mobility work, accelerates progress; instructors will recommend frequency based on your goals and recovery needs.
