Wear athletic clothing and bring hand wraps and gloves if you have them; otherwise we provide loaner gloves and wraps. Bring water, a towel, and optionally shin guards. Arrive early for fitting and safety guidance.
Pad sessions combine explosive striking, interval rounds, and partner resistance to boost cardiovascular endurance, muscular power, and metabolic conditioning. Regular training accelerates fat loss, increases core strength, and improves agility for practical fitness gains.
No—pad work focuses on coached striking drills rather than live sparring. Controlled partner drills practice timing and defense, but full-contact sparring is reserved for designated sessions. Coaches prioritize safety and progression based on readiness.
Two to three classes per week yields noticeable progress in technique and conditioning. Beginners can start once weekly plus supplemental training; consistent attendance, rest, and focused drills accelerate skill retention and physical adaptation.
Often yes with medical clearance. Instructors modify intensity, protect injured areas, and focus on low-impact techniques and progressive loading. Communicate your history before class and we will tailor drills and refer to medical professionals as needed.
